Clarion Corvus Trust is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at Hobart High School, Loddon to provide in-class support to a range of students within subject areas. You will undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of students, including more specialised support for those with special education needs, enable access to learning for students and assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom. Hobart caters for many students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and has a committed SEN team.


The SEN Department is firmly committed to the development of student independence and is characterised by exceedingly high expectations of the school’s SEN students and the progress they are expected to make.


You will be someone who understands and enjoys working with young people, is well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in your work. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect.
