What skills and experience we're looking for

The Gordon Children’s Academy are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will play a key role in encouraging positive behaviour, promoting self-esteem, and fostering independent learning to support pupils’ overall development and academic progress.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Assisting with the observation and monitoring of pupil progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records of interventions, and tracking achievements.
  • Assis with the preparation of differentiated learning materials and organise classroom displays.
  • Support the delivery of engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.

There may be a requirement to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages. There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.

This role is offered on a Fixed Term Contract until August 2026
