Teaching Assistant job summary

Woodfield Primary are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team, to support the learning and development of children in the school. The Teaching Assistant will be a good team player and have the ability to develop positive relationships with children.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience of working within a primary school, knowledge of EYFS/KS1 is advantageous

Excellent communication skills

Be passionate about supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English Grade C or above, and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills

NVQ2/3 or equivalent qualification in childcare or be working towards the qualification

Woodfield Primary and Nursery is a one form entry school, for children between 2 and 12 years old, in the heart of the Whitleigh community.
