Teaching Assistant job summary

Fixed Term until 31 August 2027, Term Time Only
32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
Working 1:1 and general TA responsibilities including lunchtime supervisory duties
Salary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3 - 6, £24,796 - £25,989 per annum
Actual Salary £18,275 - £19,155 per annum

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has numeracy and literacy skills grade 4 or above (or equivalent level) and who is:

Caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the child to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by the teacher
Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff
Flexible in approach and able to adapt to working with both groups and individual pupils
Willing to help with activities both in the classroom and across the school
Professional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentiality
Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
