Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic experienced Teaching Assistant, with break and lunch time duties, who will play a positive part in the education and social development of children, supporting them to access the curriculum and learning environments safely. Under the guidance and direction of the teacher, you may work with children individually or in groups, ensuring that they learn at an appropriate pace. We will deliver a 6-month induction programme with a mentor that forms part of your probation period.

We are looking for someone with patience, humour, commitment and flexibility alongside a strong and proactive commitment to personal development; which will include attendance to formal training, such as safeguarding, this may be outside regular contracted times. You must be a good communicator with high expectations, authentic empathy with children and a team player. Experience of working with early years and/or primary aged children on a professional basis is essential. Full and relevant EYFS training is desirable.
