The role of teaching assistant is diverse and at times may require in class support, but the focus of this role is 1:1 support. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our neurodiverse children and children with physical needs receive the individualised support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

We need someone who can:

·        Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with SEND, which may include operating equipment to assist with the transfer of pupils with physical needs.

·        Assist students with daily tasks, activities, and personal care routines, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence.

·        Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the learning styles and needs of individual students,

·        Foster positive relationships with students and parents,

·        Support students during in-class activities, to promote their participation and success

. Previous experience working is desirable, but not essential.
