Teaching Assistant job summary

Salary: NJC Grade C: £25,583 - £26,403 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 4 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (09.00 - 13.00 Thursday)

The successful applicant will demonstrate a patient, encouraging, and driven approach, with experience in supporting children. Initially, the role will involve working on a one-to-one basis with a pupil and undertaking some playground duties. We are seeking someone who has:

· A growth mind-set; with the ability to instil this in others

· Motivation and determination to secure the best possible outcomes for all children

· Excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and other staff

· A minimum GCSE C Grade in both maths and English

· Experience of working with SEND
