Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Do you want to make a difference in their educational journey? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Student Support team.
Your Role: As part of our commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes for our most vulnerable students, you will work closely with the Assistant SENCO, Inclusion staff, and class teachers. Your mission is to provide complementary learning activities for pupils with SEND or inclusion needs.
What We Seek: We need someone with a flexible and creative approach, ready to bring new ideas and a strong work ethic. You should possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills, evidenced by GCSE grades A*-C or 5+ in Maths and English. Proficiency in using I.C.T. as a learning tool is advantageous, although training will be provided.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or students is essential.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with teachers, pupils, and the SEND team.
