Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for an excellent KS1 Teaching Assistant with vision and a passion for bringing out the best in all children and can make a real difference in our school. Specifically, we would like someone who has the following qualities:

        • Initiative

        Experience of working with KS1 children

        Experience of teaching phonics, preferably with RWI is desirable

        A demonstrable understanding of continuous provision

        A strong understanding of early childhood development and a commitment to support every child

        A clear understanding of how we keep children safe and awareness of Keeping Children Safe in Education

        Hours 8.45 - 3.15pm every day. This role is offered on a fixed term basis to cover long term sickness absence, until 31st December 2024 in the first instance.
