Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for an experienced early years Teaching Assistant who is flexible, resilient and able to work collaboratively and independently to plan and support children in our early years setting.

We can offer lively, creative children, a hard-working dedicated friendly team, supportive governors and caring parents. We are always keen to have innovative staff who enjoy the opportunity to use their own initiative.

In Nursery, we believe that the early years are magical - a time where curiosity blooms, confidence takes root and everyday is an exciting adventure.

Our Nursery is based in its own building, led by our dedicated team of early years professionals. We are a child-led setting, designed around nurturing and supporting each child's unique journey. We ensure that every child feels safe, happy and inspired to learn. The setting is resourced with many natural materials, offering a homely continuous provision. We have a spacious inside classroom and a wonderful outside play space which includes a small forest-type area, a large sandpit, water play and climbing apparatus.

Post is 32.5 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday

Contract is fixed term, initially until 31st August 2027

Term time only (38 weeks) plus two training days.

Salary is NJC Grade D Scale 3-4. Actual salary: £18462 - £18572
