Teaching Assistant job summary
Floreat Montague Park Primary School currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time Teaching Assistant to join a hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care. This position is offered as a fixed term contract until the end of the calendar year.
Your opportunity
You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, on an individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure the students’ learning needs are being met.
As a Teaching Assistant within Floreat Montague Primary School, you’ll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with professional development, training, and career progression opportunities available; including apprenticeships or even the possibility of Teacher Training via our GLF Teaching School Hub.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Contract type: Fixed term contract to cover secondment until December 2026
Salary: Associate 2.1 £23,914 FTE (actual £7,429)
Hours of work: Part-time (8:30 am - 3:30 pm) minimum 2 days a week, ideally worked Thursday and Friday. Term-time (Plus INSET): 39 Weeks
Closing Date: 14th May 2026 at 9.30am
