Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

As a Teaching Assistant at Bridge Farm Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Supporting children in their learning across the curriculum

Responding to the individual needs of children with empathy and understanding

Working with pupils who have communication and interaction difficulties

Supporting the class teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who:

Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications or training in working with children (desirable)

Experience:

Experience working with children in a school environment

Understanding of KS1 and KS2 curricula

Experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly communication and interaction needs

Skills:

A variety of communication strategies to support children

Strong communication skills with children and adults

Patience, flexibility, and a good sense of humour

Commitment to going the extra mile for children

Passion for promoting inclusion and supporting the school community
