Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant – to start as soon as possible, 32.5 hours per week for full time or other various hours available, Term time only.

The post will be paid at Point 5 (FTE £23500, Pro Rata)

This role could also involve supporting teaching and learning across the school, working 1:1 with a child, working within a whole class setting or delivering interventions to small groups of children. The role will also include lunchtime working to support pupils during this period of the day.

The hours would be from 08:45 to 15:45 daily, with 30 minutes for lunch, if full time hours.

Accountable to the SENCO and the Acting Deputy Head teacher.
