Teaching assistant job summary

The role will be 1:1 and will include responsibilities such as supporting children’s learning (Years 3 to 6), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, and assisting the class teacher. Previous experience working with children with SEN and behavioural management is essential.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GST Grade B: FTE: £23,606 Prorata: £9815.71

Contract: Fixed Term

Hours: 17.5

What we are looking for:

GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths

The ability to read and write fluently, with confidence in maths

Self-confidence, common sense and maturity

A good sense of humour and effective communication skills

Adaptability and enthusiasm

SEN experience (desirable but not essential)

Interview: TBC
