• Working pattern: Full time: 27 ½ hours a week (5 days per week, 08:30 – 3:00pm), and additional contracts for lunch time duties (2 ½ hours per week, 30mins per day ) and after school club duties (2 ¼ hours per week for one afternoon a week, finish time is 5:15pm on this day).
• Contract type: Fixed term - 01.09.2024 - 31.08.2025
• Full-time equivalent salary: Grade 4, £23,114 to £23,500 pa pro rata

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work across the age ranges, including Early Years and Key Stage 1, within a classroom setting, and to meet specific duties in respect of children with additional learning needs and SEND. The successful applicant will have experience of working with children in a school setting, the ability to relate well to children and adults, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team.

We are looking for a candidate who will value all children, be extremely patient, understanding and have a positive and motivating approach. You will need to be flexible and happy to work in a team and show initiative and independence. A sense of humour and the ability to work with others sensitively are both essential.
