Teaching Assistant job summary
Salary: NJC Grade C: £24,790 - £25,584 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern: We currently have 2 permanent positions available, which are for 31.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. We encourage full time and part time applicants to apply, specifying your preference on within your application form. Additionally, we have further fixed term roles available until August 2026.

We are seeking conscientious, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will work closely with children with special educational needs, helping them to thrive and achieve their full potential.

The successful applicants will need to:
Assist in the educational and social development of students through direction and collaboration with colleagues and outside agencies; Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment; Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students; Support students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their individual needs; Have a willingness to learn and keep learning.The ideal candidates will have:
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed. High levels of initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.Why Join Us?
