Teaching Assistant and Mealtime Assistant job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum.


  • To deliver targeted interventions.
  • To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
  • To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
  • You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
  • The role includes a daily element of Meal time Assistant duties


The position is for 10.42 hours per week paid at grade B and 6.25 hours per week of mealtime assistant duties paid at grade A

Working Pattern is Monday to Friday 12pm to 3.20pm

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Actual Salary £9309.32 per annum
