- Salary – TA Scale C Point 5 £13.26/hr (£25,583 FTE) and MSA Scale A Point 3 £12.85/hr (£24,796 FTE)
- Temporary until 31 August 2027 in the first instance
- Part Time
- TA – 30 hours per week (M-F), Term Time plus 1 week
- MSA – 5 hours per week (M-F), Term Time only
- Required for 1 September 2026
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant and Midday supervisor working primarily within upper KS2 class who will:
- be able to quickly establish a relationship with children and other members of staff built on mutual respect.
- is self-confident and able to support whole class sessions, with planning from the class teacher.
- has a good understanding of how to encourage independent learning
- has high expectations of behaviour
- has experience of leading small group activities from teachers plans
- has experience of leading interventions
- has good literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE standard and a relevant DfES Teaching Assistant qualification
- is able to cover midday supervision of children
- is willing to contribute to the wider community of the school
They will also be:
- Resilient and reflective of practice
- Creative and able to offer pastoral support to all the children they engage with.
- Able to work as part of a team, be adaptable and show initiative.
- Able to work as a role model through their attitude to others and conduct around the school
- Expected to follow the staff code of conduct
