Role Overview

Job Title: Teaching Assistant | MTA

Start Date: Wednesday 25th February 2026

Salary: TA £13.26 per hour (Grade C) | MTA £12.65 per hour (Grade A)

Hours Per Week: 6 HPW on Wednesdays only

TA: 5 HPW *including 15 minute unpaid tea break and 30min lunchtime break (08:45am -11:45am & 1:15pm-3:30pm)

MTA 1 HPW (12:15pm-1:15pm)

Status: Permanent, Part-Time

Working Weeks: 38 weeks / term-time only

Closing Date: *12 Noon on Tuesday 10th February 2026

Interview Date: Week commencing Monday 23rd February 2026

Are you passionate about making a difference to children’s lives? The appointed person will work in close partnership with the class teacher and will help to support the pupils to engage with their learning. Additionally, within their MTA responsibilities, the post holder will also engage with pupils during the lunch time break to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for them. In-service training will be provided where appropriate.
