Benfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated and committed person to train to be a Teaching Assistant

The successful applicant must

  • Support the class teacher, with preparation of resources or classroom as required
  • Willingness to complete first aid training

The apprentice working basis is Term time only plus Inset days, The contract will span for 20 months plus the end point assessment so 23 months in total.

You will receive training to develop and demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour to achieve; Level 3 Diploma – Supporting Teaching and Learning

This will include;

End-Point Assessment (EPA)

NCFE combined knowledge and competency-based qualification

Work-based learning

20% off the job training

Training is delivered on-line and face to face

A nominated tutor

Functional Skills in maths and English if required
