What skills and experience we're looking for

The well-being of pupils and staff is at the heart of our day-to-day work.We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work in our ARB. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, term time plus two INSET days on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.

What the school offers its staff

Our ARB supports pupils from 4 to 11 years old who have a range of needs and diagnoses. Our pupils all have EHCPs, are cognitively working significantly below their typically developing peers and require support to access curriculum tasks. Staff support pupils with communication, social and emotional development and sensory and/or physical needs.

Pupils require support throughout the school day through a mixture of whole class, group and one to one activities. Our ARB classes work closely with other classes across the school to ensure pupils receive a broad, balanced and well-rounded curriculum throughout their time at Penryn Primary. We pride ourselves in providing pupils with a high-quality inclusive education which celebrates pupil achievements and challenges them to be best versions of themselves.
