At Arnbrook Primary School we are dedicated to improving the lives of children in our local community, through the provision of an outstanding education. We have a relentless focus on excellent teaching and learning, exemplary behaviour from our pupils and ensuring our children experience a rich and inspiring curriculum which prepares them for their future lives.

Arnbrook Primary School is a warm, caring and friendly school community. We are proud of our pupils’ behaviour and attitude towards their learning. All staff can expect to work in a calm and orderly environment, supported by senior leaders, with a positive and effective behaviour policy.

We are very proud of all our pupils’ successes at Arnbrook & aspire for high levels of academic achievement for all. Our pupils have consistently good outcomes, in many cases higher than national averages, at the end of EYFS, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2.

Our curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced, with memorable experiences throughout. All subject leaders are provided with subject leadership time and opportunities to lead & develop their subject areas. With many exciting new initiatives across the school, and a staff team dedicated to improving teaching and learning, we are on an amazing journey. If you’re looking to make your mark, Arnbrook’s the place to be.

We are privileged to serve our local community, with supportive parents and families. We have a high proportion of disadvantaged children and our catchment area is an area of high levels of social deprivation. A commitment to going the extra mile for our pupils is vital to us at Arnbrook as we face many challenges that come with working in areas of deprivation. Arnbrook staff all share a “can do” philosophy and have very high expectations of the children.

We know that happy, motivated staff are essential to a successful school. That’s why we provide a range of professional development opportunities and have a focus on staff wellbeing including offering a wealth of wellbeing services such as mindfulness, gym sessions, free health checks and much more. We are always looking at ways of ensuring teacher workload is manageable.
