We are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ashingdon Primary Academy. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference to the lives of children, helping them to develop independence, thrive socially, and achieve their full academic potential.

You will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to deliver high-quality learning support, both in the classroom and through small group or individual interventions. You will also play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting pupils' wellbeing, and helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

You will:

* Support teaching and learning in class and through planned interventions.
* Promote pupil independence, confidence, and engagement.
* Work with children with a range of needs, including those with SEND.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and wider school staff.
* Contribute to behaviour management and pastoral care.
* Support school trips, enrichment activities, and the wider school community.

Professional Development

At Lift Schools, we are committed to supporting professional growth and development. All new Teaching Assistants working 20 hours or more per week on a permanent contract will be automatically enrolled on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship if they do not already hold this qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain essential skills and knowledge through the 'Initial Teaching Assistant Training', ensuring you are fully equipped to succeed in your role and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
