Salary: Kent Range 3 - £10,400 per annum (£21,293 FTE)

Hours: 19.5 hours per week (Monday – Wednesday), term time only

Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for helping children learn and grow? If so we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Chantry Community Academy.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the classroom teacher in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our young learners.


Responsibilities:

Experience of working with children with SEN and/or SEMH would be preferable.

Highly motivated and committed to providing inclusive learning opportunities.

Supporting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs of the students.

Assisting with classroom preparation and organising educational resources.

Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional attention.

Fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and respect among students.

Encouraging students’ social and emotional development, helping them to build self-confidence and resilience.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with children effectively.

Patience and understanding to cater to students with diverse learning needs.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and staff effectively.
