Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum and some hours in our wraparound care setting.


  • To deliver targeted interventions.
  • To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
  • To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
  • You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
  • This role will include working with SEND pupils 1:1 or small group work.


The 2 positions are for 36.5 hours per week each to be worked Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break and 2 days a week 3.30pm - 5.30pm in our wraparound care setting (days to be discussed at interview).


This role is term time only for 38 weeks per year and is fixed term until 31st August 2026.
