Teaching Assistant (B1 Level 1) job summary

We are seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our diverse, dynamic and welcoming three‑form entry primary school.

About the role

Working under the guidance of the class teacher and senior staff, you will:

  • Support pupils’ learning in class and in small groups
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and well‑organised learning environment
  • Work with children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
  • Support pupils’ wellbeing, engagement and independence
  • Contribute to the wider life of our busy, vibrant school

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their education career, or looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
