Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
This is a great opportunity to join a highly skilled and dedicated teaching team at St David's C of E Primary School.
We are looking to recruit an dedicated, patient and caring teaching assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning. Initially, this post is fixed term for 1 year.
You will:
Have excellent communication skills, enabling you to develop positive relationships with pupils; Have the ability to support children in developing independence and confidence in their own abilities as learners; Be flexible, adaptable and positive; A minimum GCSE C grade in both English and Maths; Be motivated, organised and a great team player; Value and actively contribute to the Christian ethos of the school, being a strong role model for our Christian values.Our unique school is situated in the centre of Exeter and was described within our recent Ofsted report as 'a small school with a big heart!' As a church school, our Christian values of Friendship, Respect, Forgiveness, Kindness, compassion and trust underpin everything that we do and provide our children, staff and families with a safe and caring learning community in which to grow, thrive and learn together.
