VACANCY FOR TEACHING ASSISTANT - 15 hours per week
TRUMPINGTON PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL

This is a term-time only role – part-time (mornings only)
Monday to Friday, 9am to 12 noon with one hour of Midday Supervision each day from 12 - 1pm
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 4 - 5 (Level 1-2 TA) and Grade 3 (Midday Supervisor)
(£10,896 - £11,470 Actual Salary per year)

If so, we have an exciting part-time opportunity to join our Teaching Assistant team at Trumpington Park Primary School! You will be part of a very friendly team working in our wonderful classrooms supporting the children’s learning either on a whole class, small group or one-to-one basis. This will be a varied, fun and fulfilling role where you will be making a difference to the children’s learning, and you will see their progress every day! An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and will also include midday supervision during the children’s lunchbreak.

The ideal candidate:
- Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
- Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One/Two.
- Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
- Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
