Banks House School primarily learns outside the classroom to give our pupils the most specialised education. This job requires outdoorsy people who love getting stuck in and aren't afraid of the British weather!

Responsibilities:
- To set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- To support pupils with their indoor and outdoor learning under the direction of teachers and management
- To support teachers with any administrative tasks
- To promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Prepare and present displays
- Take responsibility for pupils on visits, trips and out of school activities as required
- Record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of pupils
- Support pupils to develop their skills of independence and communication
- Support the use of ICT in the curriculum
- Complete all daily cleaning checks
- Administer first aid and/or medication (once trained)
- Support pupils with personal care (as appropriate)
- To carry out such additional functions that may be required of you from time to time.
Requirements:
- Be available to work full time hours (Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm)
- A full UK driving licence
- Willing to undertake medication training
- Willing to provide personal care to students
- A commitment to working outside in all weathers
