The Governors are looking for an inspirational and creative Teaching Assistant to join our Catholic primary school at Barkston Ash Catholic Primary School, Nr Tadcaster. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant to work across different year groups, small group work, and one to one work.

We are looking for someone who:

Is warm, friendly, and empathetic

  • Has excellent English, maths and communication skills
  • Understands how individual children learn to ensure rapid progress
  • Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
  • Works effectively as part of a skilled team including outside agencies
  • Someone who is committed to continuing professional development
  • Is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
