Do you have the resilience, empathy, and drive to support students with behavioural challenges in a nurturing and structured environment? If so, we invite you to be part of something new and transformative, our Student Support Centre.

We are launching a brand-new Student Support Centre. This will be a dedicated space designed to re-engage students, promote emotional wellbeing, and support positive behaviour. As a Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in this initiative, working closely with students who need extra guidance to succeed both academically and socially.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
  • Delivering tailored interventions and mentoring sessions
  • Assisting with reintegration into mainstream lessons
  • Promoting restorative approaches and positive behaviour strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with young people in an educational or youth setting
  • Skilled in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
  • Calm, compassionate, and solution-focused
  • Able to build trust and rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education

A background in youth work, SEN support, or mental health is highly desirable.
