Teaching Assistant

PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time 29 hours per week role working Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.10pm each day with a 50 minute unpaid lunch-break.

Blessed Mother Teresa’s Catholic Primary School, part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a committed and hardworking Teaching Assistant primarily working with children with additional needs . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly professional, caring, and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Be at least Level 2 qualified & preferably Level 3 qualified

• Be willing to support and contribute to the Catholic life of the school.

• Be an effective practitioner, able to meet the learning needs of all children.

• Maintain and promote very good progress and high expectations for every child.

• Have high expectations of behaviour and model positive conduct.

• Possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Be committed to raising both self-esteem and academic standards.

• Work effectively as part of an established, professional teaching team.
