What skills and experience we're looking for

5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English

Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.

Motivation to work with children and young people.

Good numeracy/literacy skills.

Training in the relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy.

Effective use of ICT to support learning.

Charnwood College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 academy with sixth form, situated in the west of Loughborough in Leicestershire. The academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust and is governed by a Local Governing Body. The secondary academy has expressive arts facilities which include a dedicated music suite and dance and drama studio. In addition, its sports facilities include a floodlit, all-weather 3G sports pitch, a new sports centre, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, a gym, a fitness suite, and extensive playing fields.
