Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor (x3 posts)
Grade GR3
32.5 hours per week, term time only
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:45pm
(Includes a 45-minute unpaid lunch break)
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants / Cover Supervisors.These roles are based in Reception or Key Stage 1 (KS1) and involve working closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development. You will also be expected to provide cover for teacher absences across the year group or wider school when required.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting learning in Reception or KS1 as part of a professional team
- Delivering small group sessions in phonics, reading, maths, and other interventions
- Releasing teachers in KS1 and lower KS2 for PPA or leadership time
- Providing classroom cover across the school when necessary
- Enthusiastic and optimistic in their approach to education
- Dedicated to improving children’s lives and learning opportunities
- Ambitious and driven to help children achieve their full potential
- Reflective and self-critical, always striving to improve their practice
