Teaching Assistant job summary

We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join us here at Even Swindon Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team and provide excellent care and education for our pupils.

The successful candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm for working with children, be creative, dedicated and have a positive attitude to joining a forward-thinking school.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can build excellent relationships, want to make a difference to all children and have excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will have some previous experience of working with children with SEND. Some experience of using signalong is preferred although training will be available.

Hours would be 8.30am - 3.10pm with an additional hour after school every other week for an SEN meeting. Term time only.

The post is initially offered until the end of July 2026.
