Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our talented team of support staff, working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership and supervision of the class teacher(s) and the SENCO/Inclusion Manager. S/he will be required to work with individuals and/or groups, including those with SEN, supporting their learning needs and supervising their general care.
The successful candidate will be caring, supportive and inclusive practitioners who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being. They will be able to show initiative, provide interventions and deliver positive learning experiences.
We are seeking a professional, optimistic and hard-working candidate who will be able to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently and who will be able to promote positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
Relevant qualifications and experience are desirable. Please see Person Specification.
