Teaching Assistant job summary

Deanwood Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teaching Assistant, to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning in our primary school. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally in a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

This is a part time, term-time only, fixed-term role, paid on the NJC pay scale grade D2 points 4-11 (FTE £25,185.00 - £28,142.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £5,691.66 - £6,359.93 per annum).

The working pattern will consist of 10 hours per week, 3 days per week, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day. The shift pattern is up to negotiation.
