Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our small and friendly team to support the ambitious curriculum offer. We are looking for somebody who can work throughout the school. The hours are not yet set and job-shares will be considered. We welcome applications from people with availability from 7:45-5pm or part thereof.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support or early childhood education are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working within a school or other educational setting.
  • Understanding of, and familiarity with, strategies and interventions to support pupils with SEND in an educational setting desirable but not essential
