What skills and experience we're looking for
3 Teaching Assistants Required from 15 April 2024 (or as soon as possible after this date). The Governors are seeking to appoint highly motivated, committed and experienced Teaching Assistants who will play a key role in providing support for pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of pupils.
There are 3 posts:
2 x 32.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
1 x 6.5 hours per week (Monday)

We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience in caring for children with special educational needs
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
- Can work as a part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues
- Enjoy working independently and with initiative
- Can work effectively with children either individually or in small groups to enable them to achieve their best
- Are highly organised and has good time management skills
- Are flexible, proactive and resourceful
- Demonstrate good English and Mathematics skills (GCSE Grade 9-4 (old grade A-C) or equivalent/higher)
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
