We are looking for a positive, reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and ambitious school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a welcoming and passionate team, working across classes to support high-quality learning and targeted interventions. The post is for 20-30 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days. The role is a temporary post, from 1st January 2026- 31st August 2026.

As a Teaching Assistant at The Grange Academy, you’ll work closely with class teachers to provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, helping to create a safe, engaging and purposeful classroom environment. You will also play a key role in delivering small group and 1:1 interventions to help children overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a warm, calm and supportive approach to working with children

  • Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with staff and pupils

  • Can work flexibly across classes and key stages

  • Shows initiative, creativity and a commitment to inclusion

  • Has experience delivering interventions or supporting learning (desirable)

  • Has GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential)
