Teaching Assistant job summary

East Ardsley Primary Academy is a two-form entry school in the middle of the local community. We work passionately to equip our children with the skills, independence and resilience that makes them highly effective learners. We promote success for every child in our school, and focus on every child as an individual to give them the understanding, support and skills they need to work together as part of our team.

You will offer general support to the teacher in the management of pupils, classroom activities and assistance in the provision of the wider school curriculum. Working compassionately, you will work with our teachers to secure good progress for all children, regardless of their abilities and capabilities. You will support the teaching of our children one to one, in groups, and as part of the whole class, while actively promoting the ethos and values of the school.

The post offers challenge, reward and role development for the right candidate. The role will be based at East Ardsley Primary Academy with opportunities to work with other professionals across the Trust.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
