Teaching Assistant job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated school staff and be part of a vibrant school community which places the child at the centre of all we do.

The post is a Temporary position to cover a Maternity Leave commencing March 2026.

Hours of work are Monday- Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm, Term time only with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This position will be combined with 30 minute lunchtime cover.

You will need:

  • to be passionate about providing the best possible learning opportunities for all pupil
  • fully committed to the role of supporting children;
  • to be creative and flexible in your approach to learning;
  • patience with and understanding of behavioural issues.
