Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant who is committed to supporting the learning of students to join our dedicated team at Edward Peake. You will work alongside teaching staff, to support learning, promote inclusion, and help all students to achieve their full potential. The ability to support both literacy and numeracy at KS2 and KS3 is essential.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated to support young people of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Can work collaboratively as part of at team
  • Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and equality
  • Has high expectations of themselves and others
  • Shares our vision to inspire each student to aspire, to achieve, and to flourish - academically, personally, and spiritually.

Hours: 30 hrs per week (Full time/Part time) Term-time only + training days

GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C as a minimum requirement.

Previous School experience is essential. Flexible working will be considered.
