We are excited to be recruiting for a brand-new Teaching Assistant, to join our growing community. The ideal candidate will work with a caring, passionate and professional attitude, recognising the importance of this role within our school, to ensure safety, behaviour and organisation.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their contribution to our whole school community;
- Has the ability to work confidently, effectively, flexibly and independently
- Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
- Personal commitment to on-going professional development.
- Shows initiative and creativity in different situations;
- Is passionate about children’s safety and well-being;
- Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.

St Lukes is a proud member of PDET, alongside 35 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust.
