Teaching Assistant job summary
Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.25pm (core school hours) 28.75 hours per week Teaching Assistant plus an additional 2.5 hours Midday Supervisor.
Salary: £15,725 - £16,744 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grades 4-5 (Level 1 - 2 Teaching Assistant) Salary based on 28.75 hours per week
Midday Supervisor salary: £1,346 - £1,367 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grade 3, Points 2-3 based on 2.5 hours per week

You will be part of a very friendly team supporting one-to one learning and assisting in the classroom. This will be a varied role where you will need to be consistent and resourceful - a rewarding and vital role supporting the learning and well being of our children and you will see their progress every day! An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and will also include midday supervision during the children’s lunchbreak.

The ideal candidate:
Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One or Two
Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
