Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Band 3 Point 3

Required: - November 2024

F.T.E: 32.5 hours (Fixed Term) Pro Rata, Term time only

Fixed Term until 31.8.2025

Temporary Contract

The Academy Council are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in EYFS. Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team.

Applicants should:

  • be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality curriculum provision in a caring Christian ethos.
  • have a high standard of spoken and written English.
  • be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills
  • be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom.

We require a member of Support Staff who:

  • is experienced working in the Primary classroom
  • has a good knowledge of the curriculum
  • works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team
  • can contribute to the wider school community
