Teaching Assistant EYFS / KS1 job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, within EYFS and KS1.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be committed to supporting pupil’s learning and to help pupils surpass their expectations. Knowle Primary School are seeking candidates that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.

This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for someone who is proactive, nurturing, and ready to make a real impact in the classroom and beyond.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English.
  • At least one year’s experience in a primary school setting.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping children succeed.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and behaviour management skills.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
