Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children in an educational setting, preferably within the Early years sector.
  • Is a team player, able to use their initiative in the classroom and help support the delivery of intervention programmes for individual and small groups of children
  • Has a commitment to improving their own knowledge, skills and practice in relation to the post.
  • Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the classroom and outdoor learning spaces.
  • Encourage children’s social and emotional development through play and interaction.
  • Ideally has a working knowledge of the Read, Write Inc phonics programme
