Grade F SCP 15 - 20 (£23,541 - £25,991 per annum, pro rata)
Candidates must commit fully to the training and the qualification. Roles will be made permanent on successful achievement of the BSL 2 qualification, but will initially be temporary until confirmation of qualification is received
The Board of Trustees wish to provide an opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for the Deaf. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our school team. The post holder will be based at Reigate Primary Academy.
The Harmony Trust was established in February 2014 and currently has 15 schools under the Trust umbrella. The successful candidates will have:
GCSE English and Maths grade A-C or CSE Grade 1 or NVQ Level 2 in Literacy and NumeracyNVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
At least CACPD Level 2 BSL or equivalent OR a willingness to work towards
NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools or willingness to work towards
Experience of working with children in an educational setting who may have different individual needs and learning styles, in particular with hearing impaired children
Experience of preparing/contributing to resources to support learning programmes
Experience of effectively using ICT and other technology such as digital recorders and photocopiers, and resolving straightforward problems in their operation
