n behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I’d like to say a big hello and welcome to Foston CE VC Primary School.
As schools we believe in the value of every child and adult who enters our doors. As such we want all those who become part of our school community, whether a child or an adult, to feel valued, happy, respected and to recognise their role in continuing to make our school ‘Outstanding’.
We believe that all children who become pupils at our federation deserve the best and our aim is to help them succeed by reaching their potential in every area of school life – academic, social, personal, physical and spiritual. We do this by ensuring that each child has a clearly personalised curriculum where they understand their educational, social and emotional journey– where it is beginning, where it will take them and how they will get there!
Through our Christian Vision, which underpins the development of our federation, children are encouraged to:
Love Learn and Grow Together
Through our federation of schools we hold a commitment to promoting inclusivity, affirming diversity, embracing community and inspiring creativity, rooted in the words of St Paul who wrote, ‘The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control’ (Galatians 5 v 22-23). These Christian values are fostered in the pupils and staff building an ethos where all can flourish.
Please contact us on fostonoffice@foston.n-yorks.sch.uk to arrange a convenient time to meet our staff team. We will be delighted to share our excellent learning environments with you.
Kind regards
Sarah Moore – Executive Headteacher
